NICK STERLING - Nick Sterling began his career at the age of seven, when he picked up his first guitar. In the years that have followed, he released his first EP at the age of ten, appropriately titled “Ten”, he has performed hundreds of shows, developed an amazing stage presence, and raised his guitar playing to the level that many have called virtuoso. After opening shows, and sharing the stage with such artists as Kid Rock, Areosmith, Cheap Trick, Tesla, Gavin Degraw, Steve Vai, and Joe Satriani, Etc, at the age of 13, Nick was presented with The Young Artists Award for Outstanding Young Rock Musician. But he didn’t stop there. With so much talent in him, he simply had to expand his abilities. This led Nick to also play drums, bass, upright bass, keyboards, and cello all at a performance level to rival many studio musicians. In 2004, at the age of fourteen, Nick set out to record his first full length CD on which he wrote all the material, played every instrument, sang every vocal as well as produced and engineered the project. The album titled “Life Goes On…” was released in late 2005 to critical acclaim. “An unbelievable release by an unbelievable artist” –The Independent Music Site, “Nick Sterling is the epitome of the youth movement” –Hard Rock Haven. “He’s a guitar picking genius” –Thom Bresh, Guitars For Life. “That Boy ain’t natural” – Dave Mason.

In 2006 Nick moved on to performing stadium shows and appeared with such acts as Buckcherry, Eric Johnson, and Army of Anyone (Stone Temple Pilots & Filter). As well as an unforgettable performance at the 2006 Lake Havasu Rockfest, where Nick headlined the main stage along side The Black Crowes, Buckcherry, Lit, Live, Cheap Trick, The Doobie Brothers, Gov’t Mule and Blues Traveler. In 2007 Nick was asked to take part in the Arizona Music Project and be one of a few selected Musicians to represent The State Of Arizona. For his participation, Nick was presented an award from the Governor of Arizona. That year Nick also began to work on his 3rd album. He spent over a year and a half expanding his skills as a writer, and musician, and wrote close to 40 songs for the project. In July of 2008, after an appearance at Summer NAMM in Nashville, TN., Nick was asked by Modern Guitars Magazine to start writing a monthly column for them, and his first column was released in Sept 2008. Nick is currently recording his 3rd album. In January 2009 Studio Update Videos will begin to be posted, both on Myspace as well as on Nick's YouTube, following him trough his reocrding process of his 3rd album. The album should be released later in 2009.
